Subject: FRONTIER: Keanu gets pissed

Keanu opened his eyes, he was in sickbay. Dr. Sykes was using a
tricorder on Keanu's chest. "Don't try to move Lt. you're in bad 
shape. You're ribs are broken, you took some punishment."

Keanu tried to talk, but could not muster the strength.

"Relax, this is for the pain," Sykes said as he pressed a hypospray 
against his arm.

The pain started to subside after a few seconds. "Tell the captain 
there's another problem..." Keanu said, "there's two Angus's and 
Patricks. They know we're here and there coming to get us."

Keanu looked around to see the ships security team in the surrounding 
beds. Patrick occupied one of them. Keanu knew this was not the same 
person that that tortured him, but he still felt afraid. 

Keanu then told Dr. Sykes briefly what he had endured. The doctor then
left to make a report to Ramsay. As the door opened to let Sykes out, 
Teri Blake came in. "Keanu! Are you ok? I heard you were beamed on 
board in a bad way, I came to see if you're alright." There was 
concern in her voice.

He coughed, "I'm fine thanks, considering."  Keanu called to Sampter
"Doc am I well enough to go back to my quarters?" 

"I don't see why not, but you're not going on duty for a few days. And  
you'll have to take it easy, I'll arrange for someone to take you."

Sampter turned to call to someone, but Teri interupted her.
"That's alright doctor, I'll take him." Sampter nodded in approval.
Teri took Keanu's left arm and placed it around her neck, at the same 
time putting her right arm around his waist.

"You're freezing," she said as her hand touched his.

Keanu looked her in the eyes. "Don't worry, a Trill's body temperature
is a few degrees colder than most humanoids." 
 
Teri said, "Come on, lets get you back to the warmth of your quarters."

Keanu and Teri walked slowly down the corridor until they came to 
Keanu's door. "Do you want to come in for a drink?" Keanu asked 
feeling the need for companionship.

"Sure, I'm not on duty for a few hours yet," Teri said as she entered 
the room.

Keanu limped over to the replicator. "What will it be?"

"Arcturian Fizz please," Keanu ordered her drink and got a Saurian 
brandy for himself.

Keanu picked up her drink and handed it to her. "Thanks."

Keanu took his drink and downed it. "I needed that. I think I'll 
have anouther."

"You should be careful with that stuff, it's very strong."

"That's why I'm drinking it. Helps me forget what happened down there
on that planet." Keanu downed the glass again. Keanu's vision started 
to blur. "You're right, this is strong stuff."

"Take it easy. Do you want to talk about what happened on the planet?"

Keanu felt rather drunk. "No not really, I think I need to sit down." 
Keanu walk over to the bed and fell flat onto it. Teri came over an 
sat on it beside him. Keanu rolled over onto his back. "Owwwwww that 
hurt."  

"You okay? I think you should lie down," Teri said with concern.

"Only, if you join me," Keanu said with a smile. 

"Sorry, not on the first date. I better be going," Teri said as she 
leaned over him and kissed him lightly on the cheek. 

"You don't have to go. I..." 

Teri interrupted him. "I've got some things to do before going on duty.
see you later." Teri got up and walked over to the door.

"You can count on it," Keanu said with disappointment. With that she 
was gone and Keanu fell into a deep sleep.
